Manchester United announce 'I Love United India' in Bangalore & Mumbai

Manchester United have made an announcement regarding their tour in India which will feature former stars of the club, Dwight Yorke and Quinton Fortune, as a part of the club’s global promotional campaign.

India is known to have one of the fastest growing United fanbases around the world with the country having more than 35 million fans of the Old Trafford outfit. The United legends will be arriving in India and making their first stop in Bangalore on 17th January, 2016 for the official screening of the big game against Liverpool which will take place at UB City Mall. The second event is scheduled to take place in the city of Mumbai on 28 February. The fans can enjoy this free of charge.

Is van Gaal the right man for Manchester United?

The appointment of Louis van Gaal as the successor of David Moyes at Manchester United has been questioned for a long time. It all started last season when the Red Devils had a very disappointing start to their season as they were winless for the first three games which included an opening day defeat to Swansea City at home. Fans still gave him the support, as an outsider to the English game he needed time to settle in.

During the initial period, his techniques and mentality were criticized by most. It began with the 3-5-2 formation. Nowhere in the Premier League had this formation ever been used by any successful coach, and when it came to a club as big as Manchester United, van Gaal’s ability in England had come under scrutiny.
